Is a blast chiller the same as a commercial fridge?
No. A blast chiller pulls a cooked load through the danger zone to a hold temperature on a timed cycle. A fridge only stores already-cold product. The cards on this page are Elite CES refrigeration with clean photos — say if you need a timed blast cycle and we will match the floor.
Do you supply blast freezers as well as chillers?
Yes, when they are on the Elite floor. Combined blast chiller/freezer machines and walk-in blast plant appear here. Say which cycle you need to the agent.
What capacity should a production kitchen spec?
Match GN grid count and kg-per-cycle to your cook batch, not a domestic portion guide. Call 01733 595440 with covers and we will map you to the right machine.
Are these suitable for a house kitchen?
